In this semester’s seminar „Policies of Iconoclasm, Censorship, and Image-Making in the US: Reflections on Visual Practices and (Political) Storytelling“ students investigated practices and policies of iconoclasm, censorship and image-making in the US throughout its history. They were asked to create an AI-generated image of representative art about democracy. The results turned out to be powerful statements about US national narratives and current political developments in the US.
