The Journal of Practical Philosophy is organizing an online discussion on June 4th about Large Language Models (e.g., ChatGPT) and the impact these new technologies will have on writing, reviewing, and publishing philosophical articles. Together with Suzana Alpsancar (Paderborn), Martin Hähnel (Bremen), and Luise Müller (FU Berlin), Karoline Reinhardt will explore various questions, such as how Large Language Models (LLMs) support the scientific writing process, how journals and editors should respond, and whether the use of LLMs will change the structure of philosophy journals. The event will be moderated by Birgit Beck (TU Berlin). The ZfPP looks forward to active participation.
