Passau Summer School for Applied Ethics (PASSAE)
The Passau Summer School for Applied Ethics (PASSAE) is a one-week interdisciplinary event organized by the Chair to discuss current issues in applied ethics. From 2024 onwards, it takes place annually. The summer school is open to students of all disciplines at the University of Passau and to international students.
Ethics of Migration: Justice, Rights, Responsibilities

This year, PASSAE is focusing on migration ethics. This event offers lectures by international experts, group discussions and further exploration of the topic as well as a corresponding cultural program.
PASSAE is open to students of all disciplines and interesting for students of humanities, such as philosophy and history, of political and social sciences, European studies, information technology or sustainability studies. The conference language ist English.
Application ist open until 15.3.2026.
