Following the Kant evening in 2024, the Evangelical Deanery of Wiesbaden, in collaboration with the Kant Society and ErwuesseBildung Asbl Luxembourg, will host a panel discussion in Wiesbaden on June 30, 2025.
Prof. Dr. Karoline Reinhardt will discuss autonomy — specifically, the autonomy that, for Kant, was an expression of the "freedom to duty" and the self-determined action free from all obligations. She will be joined by Marie Hirsch, M.A. (University of Passau), and Dr. Margit Ruffing (Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz). The main focus should also be on how Kant's understanding of autonomy relates to the autonomy of artificial intelligence.
The event will be moderated by Dr. Nora Schleich (ErwuesseBildung Asbl, Luxembourg).
