Visiting Scholar Viktoriia Vershniak

Viktoriia Vershniak is a visiting PhD student from the Laboratoire de Linguistique Formelle (CNRS), Paris. Her research focuses on paradigmatic derivational morphology and its synchronic cross-linguistic realization in genetically related languages. Currently, she is working on a project that examines Ukrainian, Polish, and Russian, aiming to uncover paradigmatic similarities in their word-formation systems.

At the Chair for Multilingual Computational Linguistics, Viktoriia seeks to expand her knowledge of automated methods that can be applied to cross-linguistic data. Viktoriia Vershniak will be at our chair until July 12.
