Why Participate?
Joining the AYCD programme offers students a valuable opportunity to engage beyond academic life while developing both personally and professionally. Participants:
- contribute to meaningful projects and step outside the university bubble,
- connect with local residents and build a strong network in Passau,
- experience new perspectives by working in intercultural teams,
- actively use and improve their language skills in German, English, and often additional languages,
- gain practical experience and insights into real-world working environments,
- strengthen their personal development, resilience, and sense of belonging.
Through collaboration, exchange, and hands-on engagement, students experience internationality right on their doorstep.
