The study of Romance languages and cultures focuses on the linguistic situation in various countries where they are spoken: France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, and Switzerland in Europe and countries extending from Argentina to Canada in the Americas and from Morocco to Mauritius in Africa. Research
Languages are a culturally shaped medium of communication. Speech habits reveal not only individual traits of the speaker but also distinctive features of social groups and entire cultures. Therefore, we are interested in these research areas.
