The aim of the project is the digitization and scientific indexing of various selected everyday objects of the Austrian composer Alban Berg using 2D and 3D methods (2D: photographic documentation; 3D: laser scanning). The overall project also includes working towards a meaningful integration into the Foundation's existing digital concepts as well as making them available to the public and scientific audiences.
The technical implementation of the research and development project is the responsibility of the University of Passau, represented by the Cultural Heritage Digitization Lab of the Chair of Digital Humanities, with the involvement of the technical and content-related expertise of the client, the Alban Berg Foundation.
