The graduation ceremony for bachelor's and master's degree programmes in the Faculty of Humanities and Cultural Studies will take place on February 27, 2027 at 4 p.m. in AM HS 10.
Students on the B.A. Catholic Theology, M.A. Pastoral Ministry and M.A. Charity Studies and Values-based Management programmes should contact the Department of Catholic Theology.
You can only take part in the graduation ceremonies if you have successfully completed your studies and your application for the issue of the degree documents has been submitted to the Examinations Office in due time.
At the time of application, all examinations and coursework – including the thesis – must have been fully completed and assessed.
The deadline for submitting the application for the issue of the certificate documents for those taking part in the graduation ceremony of the winter semester 26/27 is, for bachelor's and master's students, already four weeks before the ceremony, on 8 January 2027.
You must submit your application for the issue of your degree certificates in duplicate to the Examination Office by the deadline (no later than four weeks before the graduation ceremony) and check whether the contact details you have provided will still be valid after you have deregistered.
Provided you have passed all your examinations and the Examination Office has received the relevant records, the Examination Office will issue your certificates.
The Examinations Office will post the certificate documents to you once your application for a certificate has been processed. Original certificates will not be awarded to you at the graduation ceremony.
The Examinations Office will forward the completed application for the issue of academic transcripts, together with your contact details, to the Dean’s Office.
The Dean’s Office will send you a digital invitation to your graduation ceremony.
Please register for your graduation ceremony via the online registration form provided in the invitation by the deadline.
During the graduation ceremony, you will be presented with a certified copy of your degree certificate.
We would ask for your understanding that applications submitted later can, without exception, only be considered in connection with the ceremonies in the following semester.
