Professor Margarete Pratschke
Chair of Art History and Visual Culture Studies
Within the broad spectrum of different eras, genres and questions in art history and visual studies, the chair's research focuses on the historical anthropology of images, perception of architecture, as well as 18th-century art and German Romanticism. As an object-oriented discipline, the Chair of Art History and Visual Studies maintains close ties with non-university institutions in order to conduct sustainable and public-oriented research into art in Passau.
