Focal points of our research are the literature and culture of the eighteenth century, the long nineteenth century, and the present. Projects pursued by members of the team deal with themes such as media history, literature and ecology, the cultural history of science, gender, and the history of the book.
Our course programme covers anglophone literatures, cultures, and media from the early modern period to the present. We frequently host researchers from the UK, US, and beyond who join us for guest talks and workshops that are open to students. Here you can find out more about our current course programme.
